Security is a number one priority for Checksense.com, and we want our users to be aware of our privacy policy. Checksense.com will never ask you for information via email, and please call us regarding any suspicious charges you see on your account.
In an effort to bring you an easy, intuitive service, Checksense will request the following information from you.
-Name
-Email
-Username and Password
-Address
-Phone number
-Bank Account or Credit Card information
Sensitive information, such as bank account or credit card information, social security numbers, or EIN numbers are stored on dedicated servers of our payment processer Powerepay, stored with the same security as a banking system.
Checksense will not sell your information to 3rd parties or other companies. If Checksense cooperates with another company in the future to give you, the customer, a better rent paying experience, you will be notified of the new relationship and its impact on you.
Checksense is not held liable for accuracy of your billing information, of your management company information, nor your personal information which may be entered by the manager on your behalf. Any misrepresentation or error that results from a manager's description, entry, or request is strictly the manager's responsibility. Please contact your manager regarding the accuracy of any bill, entry, or description.
Personal information is shared freely between tenants and managers. Tenants should not post any personal information they do not want their manager to see, and managers should not post any company information they do not want their tenants to see. All liability concerning privacy of information posted by either a tenant or manager is strictly placed on the tenant or manager.
Managers are held strictly liable for posting any information, such as name or address of a tenant, whether accurate or inaccurate, without that tenant's knowledge. Checksense removes itself from all responsibility regarding information posted by a manager about a tenant. Tenants have a right to tell their manager to remove all information regarding them, under legal penalty.
